I made this card for my Mother's birthday, in ways I think she is unlucky as her birthday is Christmas Day, what a rip-off for presents. I still had the Clear Dollar Stamps challenge in my head to use three different blues and came up with this idea. This is my first time using the sweet treat cup from SU. I bought some plain white cards and envelopes a while ago at A.C. Moore that had the hole already in the cover, I've had the sweet treat cups since last year, when I ran across the cards yesterday I checked and low and behold they fit perfectly. She knows I have been deer hunting, and loves the deer meat I supply her with, she hates to go out in snow and the cold, and never ever liked camping or being out in the woods. I saw a video on how to do the domes, and thought it was Gina K, but can't find it now, anyway they said not to overdo the snow, I guess I didn't, it could really use some more. I stamped the deer from a CDS set called Deer Season, sponged the background with broken china, stormy sky & chipped sapphire distress inks, placed the snow in the cup and attached. I didn't have the correct size punch so I used a circle nestie to cut the hole in the dp. Stamped the sentiment Happy Brrr-thday! from a CDS set called Just Chillin' and cut out with a Spellbinders die Ribbon Tags Trio, then attached ribbon & bow. I'm not really happy with this one, so she may not get it for her birthday, there is always tomorrow to make another one. Thanks for looking and any comments.
