Back in October I made a blog post showing a technique of rolling scrap paper and grating it on my kitchen grater. I called it "Grated paper Fluff". The cards I posted in October used it for fleece for a sheep and foliage for trees. I also posted here to SCS and someone else commented that they'd done something similar for snow. Actually when I was doing the sheep it occurred to me that it would make lovely snow. Anyway, it hasn't been cold enough until now for me to even think snow until now.

I think the "round ornament" effect is because of the flash on the card. But remember, this is not dazzling diamonds, this is iridescent ice embossing powder and there is a difference. I used to teach physics so it may not mean much to most people for me to say there is a "thin film" effect. But what you are noticing is real. It does seem to have more colors than if I'd used the dazzling diamonds.
