Today's Free for All challenge is to make a card about food - I love my new Papertrey Ink Vintage Picnic set, so that's where I headed, coloring the image with copics and popping up the basket and the checked cloth. I then cut it out with Nestabilities Circles and Scalloped Circles, sponging while still in the die. The sentiment is computer generated - the cards I use the most and am asked to make most, are encouragement cards, and I hope this sentiment isn't too glib to be encouraging. I popped up the little strawberries from the set to add to the sentiment. The dp is sponged lightly with Ranger Distress inks. I colored the small buttons and the ribbon to match with copics.
After I posted this I noticed that the challenge may be specifically about desserts instead of just food - surely strawberries count as dessert - I'm quite sure they have some natural sugar!

I just love the colors you've used, and I think the sentiment is perfect for you picnic basket. (I'm hoping my kids get me this set for Christmas...!) It is a beautiful encouragement card! TFS!

I love picnics! There's nothing like sitting in the fresh air and opening a basket full of great food, and eating while looking at a wonderful view. I have so many great 'picnic' memories! I love your basket, the checked 'tablecloth' and the gingham ribbon!
