Well, I was about to head off to bed but checked the Color Challenge one more time to see if it was up and here I am an hour later posting my card. I decided to use the angel from SU's new set Angelic Joy because I thought she would look good done in plum. Beyond that I had no ideas. I used Shimmer White CS for that lovely elegant look it has and colored the image with watercolor crayons and an aqua painter. I added gold gel pen accents and gold glitter to the halo. There is white flower soft and DD glitter on the wings. I used a Spellbinder's Labels Six die to cut it out and then sponged in some Baha Breeze ink. The Perfect Plum panel was run through the Big Shot with the Cuttlebug Holly Ribbon EF. I layered this onto Pear Pizzaz CS. Now the only ribbon I had that matched this was the new Pear Pizzaz Stiched Poly Ribbon. It's a little pedestiran for all the angelic glitter, so I sprayed it with Frost Shimmer Paint an then added some DD glitter and now it shines real pretty. I used my new MS holly punch to punch some leaves and added some pearl accents.
Finished card measures 5' X 7".
Edit: I added a little white gel pen around the edges of the holly leaves.

A beautiful holiday card!! Your angel is soooo pretty; I would never have thought about stamping her on shimmer white~ did you have to heat set it? I also love your ribbon treatment! Great job!!

Wow, this is beautiful using these colors! You sound like me...I stayed up late last night to create a card, then realized my camera was in my sleeping daughter's room and have yet to upload it.
