I love the use of the photo as a background, too, and how the strands of beads tie the bottom elements together. Lovely.

Lovely page. LOVE the watermark photo at the back. I tried this on a page, and had to print it on velum (didn't have computer scrapping back then). it turned out ok, but this is really lovely.
