Yesterday, I fell in love with this bright, cheery holiday pillow from Company C: http://www.companyc.com/accessories-...ries/18768.htm and used the wonderfully graceful branch from best blossom, coloring, then embossing the leaves and berries, then brayering over the card. That's as far as I got and I had no idea what i was going to do with what was obviously a bold background.
This morning, I wandered thru Angela's adorable and pretty gallery and her card,CAS05 We're quite a pair by jellybean74 at Splitcoaststampers, inspired me on how to use my "background". I changed the theme, the colors and the stamps but used a sentiment, a pretty ribbon and, in place of her button, a ribbon to finish my card.

Very artistic and creative, wow. I love it when I start a piece, don't know where to go with it, and then it's available at some future point in my artistic journey. Great holiday card! blessings, Lela
