A card for my husband who's father was a WWII vet...flew a Spitfire for the Royal Canadian Air Force. He gets very sad on Rememberance Day so when I saw today's challenge, I thought my DH would appreciate this card.

Beautiful card. I hope we never forget the sacrifice of those who serve and those that have gone before us. My father-in-law served in WWII, my husband from 1968 - 1988, as well as our daughter. Thank you again for a beautiful card.

Such a beautiful card. The colours are so appropriate for the occasion. The distressed layer with grayish blue and John McRae's poem is lovely. The muted red dots remind me of poppies. I think your husband will really appreciate this card.
