for today's Color Challenge. The dessert was to add a butterfly. Since I was creating a Christmas card, I chose not to add one.
I found these colors to be outside of my comfort zone, so I did "buffer" (cheat) with some additional colors on Santa's outfit. Don't send the Challenge Police after me....please!
The background of the Santa image is a Bazzill paper that is embossed with shiny snowflakes...white on white. I then used my turq ink and a sponge dauber to shade it. Works like an embossed resist. It makes this paper very versatile.

Beautiful coloring of this handsome Santa! I'm with you in terms of the color challenge - while very cool, it is a challenge for many of us, so I think you did a fantastic job while working within your comfort zone! This card turned out quite beautiful!
