A card for today's color challenge using Espresso, Cajun Craze, and Peach Parfait. I had one piece of this dp which my mother sent me and was determined to use it for this even though I messed up trying to use holigraphic gold embossing powder - it didn't stick (hence the placement of everything to cover up the other bits)! I reverted to regular embossing powder using Elements of Style. I colored the butterfly with copics and rubbed the edges on the embossing ink pad and dipped them into the powder, as I did with the edges of the main panel and sentiment oval - I haven't done this in a long time, but someone did it recently and reminded me to try it again. I used an embossing pen to emboss little gold dots on the butterfly wings. Then used gold wire and two little gold beads for the butterfly antennae. Someone gave me a box of old buttons containing this little gold one, which I secured over looped gold cord. The Bible verse was computer generated.

Wow, the touch of gold embossing combined with that lovely DP makes this such a gorgeous, elegant card!

Fabulous butterfly. Love the swirls you've added to the background paper.
