Altered canvas wall art! Here's a canvas featuring my hubby and I - but these make great baby gifts too - I did one for my sister when my nephew was born, but it was during my pre-SU! days. Anyway, they are super quick to make and are great for displaying your work outside of a scrapbook!

I'm curious does the paper go all the way around over the edges of the canvas? I have never attempted this but would love to if I had some more info. How did you attatch everything? Any sealers of any sort?? TFS

Thanks everyone!, just so you guys know - I cut the paper to the size of the Canvas (10"), (it tends to be slightly larger than the canvas, so I usually just use a sanding block to sand the paper against the edges, rather than cut it further since most canvases are not perfectly straight. This also it gives it a "distressed" edges look.) As far as adhesives, I use regular mono adhesive on the patterned papers, the twill tape and attached the brads to the whole "panel". I then used a couple of small pieces of sticky strip to secure the papers to the canvas. I used pop up glue dots to attach the picture, and crystal effects for the hodgepodge Clips.
These canvases are very easy to do and make great, gifts!
