What an amazing month it has been! I really need to say thank you to this amazing community. You guys have inspired me with your cards and your enthusiasm for a great cause!
But now it's time for a great escape. My favorite escape is good book. I love nothing more than a book I can just get lost in and lose all track of time. I love great novels, like the Brothers Karamazov, gripping non-fiction like Into Thin Air, and I adore the big Calvin and Hobbes collections. I love the way books smell and the way print looks on a page.
So for my inspiration, I went over to the Etsy treasury lists and I typed "books" into the search.

I haven't read Dostoevsky since I was in my teens, but I LOVE Calvin and Hobbes and the values Watterson portrays - like the parents never watching television :D.
I wanted to use a book page on my card today but went elsewhere to stay pink. Love your great strong colours, though - that blue and yellow combination is fantastic.

This looks like the perfect escape to me! What a fun card and there is nothing more soothing to me than a book, a comfy chair and losing myself in words. Awesome!
