A new gallery for me this week, Beth, great pick! And congratulations Cheryl on being selected as our Featured Stamper for this last Sunday in October. As I strolled through your gallery, I favorited many of your lovely cards. And worked on several bits of cases. I finally settled on this card. I liked your calendar cards and this one works perfectly with the colors I wanted to use. I kept your layout and similar colors. I changed the position of the my sentiment and image.
I have had the idea to make this card since last year. The Wordsworth sentiment speaks truth. Transparency with others is the greatest gift one can give. When this skeleton showed up in a grab bag of stamps, I knew it was just a matter of time before I could pull this off. It is from 100 Proof Press. I stamped it on white cs with Memento Tuxedo Black and paper pieced it with paper from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush group. The very grungy fence is from Tim Holtz. I inked and stapled it to add to the distress look. The beautiful autumn colored collaged backround is from Memory Box 'Twilight'. I stamped the sentiment on white cs and one of the numerous Spellbinder labels, inking the edges.
Cheryl, once again congratulations on being selective Featured Stamper. Enjoy the show. And friends, thanks for stopping by...
