Well, I love how this card came out, but I am sad for the reason I had to make it. One of our young men in the office was terminated yesterday. I am disappointed in how he was let go, but that is neither here nor there. The fact is work is so hard to find now days, and I wanted to make him a card to let him know that while we might not understand why we are going through a difficult time, God understands and knows. It did not surprise Him, and He will see him through.
I used two different challenges. One is an old sketch SC126 - but I love this layout for this card. The other is for this week's CAS90 using Gingham and Checks. I thought this paper and layout would be masculine enough, which is why I chose it.
The sentiment on the front of the card is a digi stamp from TLC Creations. When I saw this sentiment, I knew it was what this young man needed to hear. Sure hope it gives him a lift, but more importantly I hope it brings him HOPE.
Thanks so much for stopping by and looking, and I always appreciate your comments
