This is my card for the Hope You Can Cling To challenge - Cancer is for the birds! My hummingbird is a freebie available at Squigglefly. I colored it with Copic markers and matted it with a scalloped oval nestabilities. I sponged some mellow moss ink around edges and stamped the sentiment (Stampin Up - sincere salutations) in the same color ink below the image. All four corners were punched and then iridescent thread was wrapped around it.

I think the oval/scallop frame for your hummingbird image.....is just perfect. It reminds me of looking at a nature print in a frame. Very lovely card.

Lovely soft colours - and I like the way the thread just borders the second layer. I like using thread with that corner punch, but I've never thought to have a layer the same size - definitely going to remember that!
