This is for the Clean and Simple challenge this week to use gingham or checks. I have to admit I was kinda confused and kept coming up with argyle and plaid but I think I got it figured out now!
The flower was hand cut from my son's jeans that the dog ripped this week...LOL
This also qualifies for the Hope you can cling to challenge to make a pink card inspired by your childhood memories. As a child I was a tomboy...but I didn't want to be. I wanted to wear dresses and cute lacey things but I was so accident prone, my knees were always cut up. SO my Mom would make me wear JEANS UNDER the dresses! ACK!!!! Seriously? I asked her about it now and she tries to deny it...but then I see her giggle as she remembers....LOL

Hey, our moms must have known each other! I wore the dreaded pants with dresses. Not such a good look. I love your creation...especially that you cut the flower from your son's jeans!

Bwahaha! Jeans under dresses! Snort! Now I remember those girls in school! Snicker! Although, I was a tomboy too and I was so bad, I didn't even get the dresses! Snort!
Hey, you and I should play football sometime! Whut? You think we would kill each other? Ha!
I love this....and the hint of denim? It rocks and its on top of the pink! Yay!
