This is for IC255 and I was inspired by the greens and browns in this cartoony pine tree and biker scene. http://postercabaret.com/bicicletabyscottc.aspx I just recently got this Pine Branch image and have been wanting to use it for a project. It is perfect to creae a border image and I only had to stamp it two times across the page and painted with a brush and reinkers. I decided to use plain PTI white paper to see if I could paint and make it look like the pine is alive. I most always use watercolor paper for my projects as it allows building up color much better than regular cardstock but I wanted to use pure white for the crisp contrast between the brown, green and white. I thought the red bow was a perfect embellishment to go with this traditional type holiday card. The sentiment is from a retired SU set called Season's Greetings.

I love the clean and simple layout. It's very elegant.
