This part of the BCA challenge we were to find inspiration from something pink we had as a child.
I have a very old pink glass lamp that belonged to my grandma that has set on my desk since my 6th b-day. I've written many a letter by the light of that little lamp...(no, I'm not old enough to have used a quill pen..giggle)
I cut this out with cricut and doodled all over it, added lace cuff and attached it to card which was embossed in CB with frame folder.

That lace cuff is a fantastic addition. I have a little green glass peacock that was my mother's nightlight when she was little, although I've never had it with the light working. Aren't links with the past like that real treasures. I bet writing with a quill wouldn't look as neat as that sentiment - not if I tried, anyway!!

This is so sweet (the card and the story). I love how you did the cuff and the "doodling" and the embossing. It turned out really cool and different. You are certainly on a roll with these HYCCT cards - keep going!!!!!!
