wow, Anne...what a fun site this week for the IC. It was tough to settle on one, but when I sat down with my new issue of Atomic Ranch magazine and saw an ad for Leah Giberson (the poster with orange chairs) I knew I JUST HAD to choose this ONE!
The Inkadinkadoo clear stamp set 'King of the Road' was perfect with the travel trailer. I inked it with Brilliance Starlight Silver and embossed with clear. The turquoise panels were VersaMarked and embossed with Candy Turquoise. I cut my window awning. The tire was paper pieced and a tiny bit of red Copic for the taillight. The old web lawn chair is Stampa Barbara....inked with TH DI Barn Red and inked again with silver and embossed. The perfect sentiment is from AMuse. Background papers, the grass (Basic Grey JuneBug green) and the sky (Basic Grey Periphery). I also inked the sky with a cloud stamp from I Brake for Stamps rubbing various chalk inks into the sky. The little patches of grass were cut by hand.
Thanks so much for stopping by...your comments encourage my arty side...
one4joydaily There is a trailer caravan on my envelope and a very cool link to several womens' groups that caravan together. The journey IS truly the reward!

Just fabulous, Susan. I love how you can pull so many elements together from different stamp companies and make it look like they are all part of a perfect set for your purpose. LOVE the awning and grass details you've added.

I really liked all those travel trailer posters but I would have never thought to try to re-create one. You did a fantastic job with this. The scene you created is so relaxing and colorful.
