I've been meaning to try the Just One challenge (WT286) - make a card from just one sheet of cardstock but it doesn't have to be a one layer card.
I made the card first, cutting off a strip of the front edge so that the fairy can appear to fly off the card. I stamped the fairy on the remaining piece of cardstock and stamped the plants on the card front and on the inside where they'd show because of the strip I'd cut off.
I stamped everything with a black pigment ink and then used Stampendous Kaleidoscope Transparent embossing powder. The neat thing is that no black shows through even though it is a transparent ep - you just have to overheat the ep, and you can get a fabulous range of shimmery tones by varying how much you heat different sections of the image. I hope my photo shows this - some parts of the images are copper, some green, some blue, and some purple. In real life it looks fabulous.
I cut the fairy out, and stuck down the bottom edge and then used thin dimensionals as she headed upwards out of the plants, and then near the top of her, I used a thicker dimensional as I wanted to give the impression of her flying off the card.
