Stampin'B's hostess Vicky Gould challenged us to make a Halloween card without using black or orange. I cut four squares, two each of green and purple DP from a pack of Halloween paper. The card base is purple, with a layer of white between. The white layer is cut with a deckle blade. After mounting all the various layers, the top scenic layer was popped up on pop dots. The scene was made by stamping the images in purple and clear embossed. I know it probably looks like black ink; but, believe me, it is definitely purple! The moon was colored with two shades of yellow/brown sponged through a circle I punched in a Post-It note with a 1-inch circle punch. Then I covered the moon with the punched-out piece and colored the sky with chalk.

Lois, this is super! Love the purple and green in place of those colors we couldn't use, orange and black. Good job on the sky and moon...it really does look like a Halloween night. OMG, is that Speedy on that broom? I think he's trying to catch a bat..or hiding from the trick or treaters. I had a dog once that was so terrified of Halloween that he would run upstairs on Halloween night and hide in the fartherest closet he could find. LOL I doubt Speedy is scared, though. That is a great sentiment stamp.
