I created this card for this week's sketch challenge #303. The image is a digital image from Sugar Creek Hollow. I am still struggling with how to use Copics when blending. I tried to make the sky appear as if it was still somewhat early in the evening, but quickly turning dark. I also tried to make it appear as if the lights were on inside the church. Not so sure I accomplished either one.
Anyway, the image was perfect for this sketch. Since the tree in the image is swirly, I used a swirl CB embossing folder for the background dp to tie it all in. I added the flower instead of adding another panel, and topped it off with a rhinestone brad.
Not my best, but I am trying when it comes with Copics. Thanks so much for stopping by and looking, and I always love your comments and thoughts.

Beautiful image and your layout and colors set it off perfectly. Your shading on the church is FANTASTIC! As for using the Copics, it's like anything else, just practice, practice, practice!

I love the way you colored your image. I have requested "Copics" for my birthday so I will be joining you in trying to blend and work with them!!! Your card is just so pretty.

Barb - I haven't visited your gallery lately and sure have missed a lot! This is sooooo pretty. Your copic coloring is PERFECTION - I love the subtle changes in color which give this little scene such depth. Very nice!!
