Cindy set a great challenge today. Just wish I had time to watch Gigi tonight .
I made this card inspired by my best friend's little daughter who I used to mind. They also often visited as a family. A was into all things pink, loved punching and glitter - and stamping too . I still remember one evening when she had us all punching little hearts out for her after dinner - she could manage the larger lever punches herself, but not the *sweet little baby heart*. A couple of days later I found all those little hearts in her skirt pocket, so I wanted to make a pocket card with hearts on it.
I tried the Trifold Pocket Card from the resources section. I scored it a bit wrong first time, and with no more paper I just embossed it to cover up the wrong score lines. Thinking of clipping curves when dressmaking, I snipped along the inside edge of the brown scallop strips which made it easy to fit it to the curve. The inside panel has stamps from Doodle This stamped lightly in Spun Sugar, so that it can still be written on.
Paper is KI Memories Pop Culture, with green metallic card and lace for the band. I used double-sided adhesive for my glitter hearts.
