Vintage isn't my best style, but I enjoyed making this card. 5 3/4" square base, sponged with Vintage Photo. Next layer is some old DCWV text paper; the edges were distressed and sponged with brown, I crumpled it up and sponged with Worn Lipstick, and then stitched round the edges and an extra row down one side.
Image panel is RubberNecker's Belle, stamped on cream card, paper pieced and painted with H2Os. I added a gem on the top of her dress. Flowers along the bottom are Pink Cat Studio, and the texture at the back is just sponging over a piece of dry wall mesh tape. I stuck narrow tape down each side, added the lace and then rubbed glitter into any tape still showing. Stitched on a button with hemp and added sentiment from Vintage Vogue. Even DH reckons this is OK, so long as it's for a woman .

Sabrina, you do vintage gorgeously. I love the meshy texture behind the image, the paper piecing reminds me of a dress that my mother refused to part with and I love, LOVE the lace. What a great card.

The stitching, the lace, the paper piecing. I just love it all.
