Such a long & tangled web for this one!
This began with this week's Inspiration Challenge ... IC254 . Better Bit of Butter. My initial inspiration came from the Holiday Cookies. But, in many ways, this reminds me of the many Christmas trees I remember from my youth. And, at the same time, it's so appropriate for the HYYCT03 and HYYCT04 challenges. HYYCT03 = "Unsentimental" ... and obviously, I've left the sentiment to the whim of the writer. I've been on the "waiting" part of hospitalized loved ones ... and I know so well that the standard 'sentiments' just aren't "quite right" at many times. It's also for the HYYCT04 challenge ... 4 layers + 4 embellishments. bellies are stickles, MS glitter, rhinestones, & ribbon.

What a darling tree w/few branches and lots of garland. So this reminds you of Christmases past? This would be a great card for your family. I have a feeling you and your siblings are getting closer for some reason. Would I be right on that?
I love your card,Tex and I'm so thrilled it reminds you of childhood memories. At our age, going backward once in awhile can be a comforting thing to do.

Ohhh Bev!! I love your Tinsel Christmas Tree! For one thing it's gorgeous -and secondly - personally I like a nice thin Christmas Tree so the light still comes through! This is just magical with all of the twinkle and beauty!! Great looking paper too!
