Pink Lady Apples are the best apples, and that's why I made mine pink
This is a birthday card for my Mom and I combined it with 2 Flourishes challenges, I figure why not?
I used the Flourishes "Apple of My Eye" painted in with my Tombows and some Diamond Glaze on top, then cut it out and popped it up off the page with popdots. I used a Fiskars punch for the small lacy border at the top and bottom. I used pearls in place of the ribbon and a Martha Stewart Butterfly (punch) where the bow should be. The edges of the matting was distressed with my Tim Holtz distress tool, and sponged off in "Tattered Rose" distress ink. Then I used my Martha Stewart scoreboard to double score the edges of my cream CS base for some definition.
I will say this, I think I need to work on my distressing technique some more!!
