Here's my submission for HYCCT12, Paper Piecing. When I first read the info on this challenge I thought it said Paper Piercing and I freaked! I'm not one to string thread through little holes on my cards! Hopefully that won't be one of the challenges!
I used a Changita Birthday stamp set and the pieced areas would be the cake, monkey body, face and hands. I embellished with dew drops. The saying on the bottom leads to the "happy birthday" on the inside of the card. The cardstock is river rock and soft suede. The monkey's body is sahara sand and the dp came from SU.
