It feels really good to be back doing SCS challenges. Especially the one that stretches me to the max! For a free range gal, the SC gives me a chance to practice my geometry! Thank you Roxi...
This card is slightly larger than the sketch. I just had to get the Dr. Seuss quote in. "Think left and think right, think low and think HIGH. Oh, the thinks you can think of if only you try!" This is a Stampers Anonymous image. The interesting moon shot is from Rubber Stamps of America. I inked it with Tim Holtz DI Pumice Stone. And the cute boy with that world of ideas is a Visions of Ink image. I colored him with Copics...striping the shirt with our teams favorite colors. The background is paper from Basic Grey's Wander group. I added some distressed numbers from a Tim Holtz EF and colored them with VersaChalk brick red. The starry night paper is a mystery. Card base is PTI .
I'll be making lots of encouragement cards this year with &D getting adjusted to high school. Tomorrow is an all school test. I want him to know he knows the 'stuff', it's all in there...if he can control the deployment of said knowledge!!!!
Thanks so much for your comments, I'd read how you encourage your older children...hey, when my mom calls me darling...I just melt!
