This is my Funny Little (fabric) Valentine for a number of challenges: CC292, WKD1010B, WKD1010C, FS192
This started out as a Christmas card and just wanted to be a Valentine instead
It has pink, red and green... loosely interpreted....
The front panel is Pink Pirouette and Cherry Cobbler (and my naturals are Vanilla and Espresso). The inside has a Pink Pirouette heart (from a hostess set, and barely discernible). The greens are: the patina on the button, and the River Rock "Amour" on the inside.
I had soooooooooooo much fun making this card.
Thanks for looking!
Stamps: Notably Ornate, Hostess set, Artistic Etchings
Colors: Very Vanilla, Espresso, Basic Brown, Cherry Cobbler, River Rock
Embellies and tools: Seam binding, Dazzling diamonds, Distressing kit (mahogany ink), Pearl, Vintage button, Deck the Halls fabric, Lace, Heart punch
To fray the edges of the ribbon -- DH gave me this real firm wire brush and I unraveled string by string.
This card took inspiration from a number of gallery entries:
