This card is for Teapot Tuesday & is headed out to Jacob, the 5 year old grandson of Renee, who is dealing with cancer. He loves Halloween but instead of planning a costume, is undergoing chemo. IÂ’m bringing a whole cast of characters to todayÂ’s party. Hope they will put a smile on JacobÂ’s face.
This card took some doing. I donÂ’t have an appropriate tree stamp so used a vine barely on the page. The 3 kids on the left are a single stamp but everything else is stamped & masked to create the scene. IÂ’ve never sponged sky or ground before & I think it turned out pretty well. My only real disappointment is my large ghost character which is rather grey. I picked up the wrong marker by mistake & after doing all that masking & sponging, was not about to start all over again. My story is that he is trying to blend into the background & therefore bring some added spookiness to the scene.

FANTASTIC! Love the spider dangling from your vine, and your cast of Halloween characters is fun, fun, fun. You did an awesome job of masking, stamping and sponging and your coloring is spot on too! Great card.

Liar, Liar Pants on Fire!!! That's not a vine, its a tree!!!! I just know it! Snort! Wow, I can just see the amount of work in this card....you did good! Jacob will be so ticked with the lot of these ghosties, goblins and trick or treaters! No worry about the big white ghost Vicki, don't cha know, its Halloween and it will snow any minute now, your big ole ghost will be white before you know it!
What a master piece you created here...and I agree, you rocked this sponging! I love the glowing mooon! Oooh.....spooky! Woot!

WOW!! This is SO cute!! I think your ghost looks great that color. Definately more spooky!! Are your "vine" tree really looks way more eerie than a tree would... ALL of it is just PERFECT!!

Your first attempt at sponging!! Well done - it wasn't my first, or even my second, that was fit to show anybody. And the vine makes a perfect tree. I like all those costumes too - great work!

Oh this looks like a spooky foggy night like in all those bad horror movies - so of course the ghost is grey because the fog is making him hard to see. What an awesome job you did on this card - what fun!
