I was trying to think of a different way of using twine, and decided to try wrapping around the petals of this chipboard flower. I painted the flower with white Crackle Paint first, and then wrapped the twine around to separate each petal. I reckoned a rustic look would suit, so I tried the faux barn board, but I don't think it turned out quite as it should. I used a Sizzix flourish for the stem, a sentiment from Flourishes cut with Spellbinders Tag Trio, and a punched circle for the face with little wobble eyes. The panel has distressed edges and is layered on an A2 card sponged with brown ink.

Sabrina, this is such a cheerful card! I love that smiling flower and the use of the twine is great! Maybe your faux barnboard didn't turn out the way you wanted it to, but I love the results anyway!
