Thanks Stef for the beautiful source of inspiration, and thanks Bev for the HHYCCT challenge of using my favorites, FLOWERS! I chose this bouquet as my inspiration. I thought the colors were amazing and so out of my pink pink pink comfort zone!
I have not colored well in along time. Rush rush rush and the results are sloppy!!! I will be very honest with you and tell you it is because I am LAZY!!!. Not that I do not love all my nesties and EF's and embellies but sometimes I use those to distract and razzle dazzle myself from the fact that my coloring needs a little more effort! So I decided to make a one layer card on strathmore watercolor paper, embossing my Me and Carrie Lou image in silver, and really concentrate on my coloring making those flowers come to life. I colored with my ink pads and an aquabrush. The sentiment is Hero Arts. Good Saturday to one and all and thanks for listening and looking!!!

NR, my friend.....I so 'hear' you about the coloring thing. I couldn't wait to click on this from the thumbnail as was pleasantly surprised to see this STUNNING one layer card. It has such detail...causes your eye to linger as it moves around the edges of the card. In other words, FANTASTIC! And thanks for the reminder that 'fussied' up is not always best. luv ya lots!
