For today's Free for All challenge to make a computer related card, I thought about how much I depend on e-mails and skype to keep in touch with my family in Alaska and Minnesota. 25 years ago when I first married and came to live in Northern Ireland, it was letters only as even phonecalls were too expensive! So I really do love my computer!!
I made a paper pieced planet earth by tracing around a Nesties circle on dp, drawing some rough country lines on some other dp, glueing those country shapes on the original circle and then cutting out with the circle die. I sponged all the edges. The laptops were colored with copics and popped up.
The little hearts are punched and I drew some little curly lines to represent cyber love going across the planet!

Love the card, especially your earth, and I so understand what you are saying. My husband was in the Navy for 25 years and those times when he was out to sea and out of touch were really hard. Today I see my Navy friends on fb "talking" to their husbands daily and I'm so glad that they have that opportunity.

Bridgit, This is so adorable! I love the paper pieced planet and how you sent love from one computer to another on the other side of the earth!! Beautiful illustration of how much we depend on computers when we're far from those we love. Great take on today's challenge!
