LateBlossom's One Layer Challenge was to be create a card expressing gratitude for a mother-figure in our life. I made this one for my mother who taught me to knit when I was a little girl (and gave me a life-long love for it). I like the sentiment with its swirls as it makes me think of strands of yarn floating out of the knitting basket and surrounding thoughts of my mother and me sitting together knitting.
The image is coloured with coloured pencils. I had trouble with where to put the sentiment but decided it needed to be grounded to the knitting basket. Any thoughts on that from anyone else?
