I took inspiration from the coffee mug on top of the "computer". I have a border stamp that I thought matched the coffee mug. I stamped the border and then colored in some of the squares with an orange marker.
Our Destination this week is for my friend Lisa Lara's son who is deployed in Afghanistan. I made my card a "thank you" card for serving for our country. I kept it simple and fun. I hope he likes it!
That's it from me... no story. Not good at that, so I don't even try anymore. haha
TFL!

Awe thank you so much Kris. This is a beautiful card and I am so happy you are sending it my Kyler. I love the embossing folder you used. Love the color combo. That border down the side is too cool. Great embossed star. I just love everything here.

Hi Kris! Whoo hoo! You are here! You will notice on my card that I stayed away from the coffee cup! I had no ideas on how to feature it so I left it off! And look at you, your card is so the coffee mug! What fun! It made a wonderful little thank you card for Kyler! A good friend you are to honor Lisa's son! Gives me warm fuzzies!
So happy to see you again...we were supposed to have cupcakes today but shh....I snuck in some cookies. Follow me!

What agreat CAS style card. It looks very 1960s . . . when a single computer took up several rooms and helped launch us to the moon. What a great mod card.
