I don't know about you, but it is always difficult for me to whip up a sympthy card on the spur of the moment, I am usually too sad to be creative then, so I have to create them when I am happy and hope that some of the happiness that went into creating the card comes out when it is opened. I used Verve's third WCMD release sketch for this card, though I had to move the 'with sympathy' panel down a bit so as not to block the sentiment on the front. I created my own DP background with the leaf images in 'Forever in our Hearts' and added a little bling around the edges of the sentiments - there are no rules again bling on sympathy cards, right? The satiny black sheer ribbon is from Pink Hedgehog papercrafts, and I LOVE it and wish I had purchased more.
Thank you for the cool sketch Julee, and thank you all for taking the time to look at my card.

What a classy sympathy card. I've been working on one today, too, but I keep getting interrupted. I love how you did yours! And nope--no rules against bling on sympathy cards as far as I'm concerned
