I added some extra layers, changed Alison's brad idea to rhinestones, and sent the Marina Mist cardstock through my CB to give it some texture. My Marina Mist ribbon seemed perfect for tying the sentiment to this card, so it was the driving force behind the color choices. The card is for a woman I work with, so I thought the eyelet border and the white card base would give it more of a feminine look.
I heat embossed the leaf, used crumb cake, cajun craze and marina mist inks with my aqua painters to color it. I inked up my French Script background and stamped over the leaf. I love how this card turned out!
