I gave away all the post-its with metal I had made so I got busy and made more in all different colors. Which is your favorite?
First I cut the metal sheets to the size needed and ran the pieces through the BigShot with a Texturz plate. Then I dabbed acrylic paints on the two on the left with a sponge. When it the paint was dry, I used a sanding block to buff off the color from the raised embossing. The metal pieces are adhered with Sticky Strip. Below are the measurements for my holder (I had to make them a little bigger than most to accommodate the chubby pens!).
Cardstock base: 7-3/4 x 3-1/4 scored at 3-1/8, 3-5/8, 4-1/8
DSP strip: 3 x 1
Metal piece: 3 x 2
Ribbon: 22 inches
The metal colors used are: Top left: Appletini; Top right: Pearl; Bottom left: Spiced Rum; Bottom right: Mocha. If you're interested in metal sheets, you can find them in many colors at Monica Weaver's Add A Little Dazzle Metal Store.
