I made this for todays Free 4 All Challenge, and what a challenge it was! My coffee got cold!!!
It was piping hot when I started!
I used nesties for this challenge. It certainly was a challenge. I knew the image I was going to use, but the color choices were another matter. I first tried sage, but I didn't like the look, so after I stamped my image in always artichoke, I settled for creamy caramel as my mat (frame) for my image.
I had such difficulty coming up with another color after that, I tried moss as a base, and liked it for a while, then I put ivory with it, and ran it thru the cb snowflake folder, but I felt the card needed something, so I grabbed the pale plum. I liked that much better, so I decided to make that my base.
I still felt like the card needed something, so I decided to add an additional frame around my trees. I used pretty in pink using the same nestie, just cut my pp smaller, so it would look like another mat.
After all that was done, is tamped the dove using early espresso, I cut it out, then used dazz diamonds to highlight the birds outline and feathers.
This card took me about an hour and a half to complete! What do you think?
