Here is my card for the FS challenge today. Congrats to Hobbydujour....aka Sallie....what a fabulous gallery. Here is the card I cased: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=111573
I used the newly released set from Innovative Stamp Creations to do a emboss resist with the hollyhocks. You can see the distressed crepe paper bkg. behind the flowers. I stamped the bkg with distress inks, stamped over with the flowers, embossed with clear then went over it all with more distress inks.
Hope you like it and thanks so much for looking,

so pretty! Gorgeous butterfly and love the little pearl dotting the i!
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia

What a gorgeous card, Karen! TFS the technique you used...I love it and will have to give it a try. Your colors are beautiful and the "torn notbook page" look goes perfectly with the twine and "rustic-ized" hollyhock image. Thanks so much for making my day special by creating your card! Sallie
