My tulips STARTED OUT pink like the inspiration, but by the time I finished watercoloring they matched cherry cobbler.....whatever. My best buddy Luca had surgery today and I had to run up and down the stairs and make this card in the living room because he does not want me out of his sight. I tell you when your kids are grown, the dog takes their place. ;) Poor guy is walking around bumping in to everything with that big cone on his head.....I came pretty close to skipping the challenge, but in the end, I just ran up and down grabbing stuff and bringing it down, and now my living room looks like a stamp room, but Luca is happy. ;) OH, and this was my inspiration:
Hope you like it!! I actually ran out of my trusty ribbon here so I tried to use just black satin but I tell you, it just did not sing to me. So I ripped this thing off another card. I'll put it back when my SU order comes in. LOL, Desperate measures for desperate times! Someone said in a comment on one of my cards they wanted to use ribbon like that but they felt like they would be copying me - that really made me smile - I have no patent on this ribbon and would be HAPPY to sell you some if you want some from SU!!!! And I would love seeing others use it cuz I just LOVE it!! Happy Weekend everyone! I will be laying low with LUCA!

This is gorgeous Karen. I love the cutting out of these tulips and the colors are yummy. I think I can see that the black satin ribbon just would not do!!!
