I am a little late.. but as they say... better late than never at all.. it has been one of those days, where I have taken one step forward and three backwards.. I know that you have all had these kinds of days... but they seem to be all the time anymore around here!!!!
Oh well.. this card is for many purposes...
It is for a few Challenges too..
One is the Sweet Pea challenge which is brand new... you do have to use a Sweet Pea Stamp... but it is trying to get started.. so if you have any sweet pea stamps, you might want to join in...
AND then it is for three challenges on SCS.. .
One is MMSC72 Where Priscilla has this really lovely sketch... love it... you can see all the details etc on my blog.. and I have listed the location at the bottom..
Now Betty Wright as us to use a few colors... and Betty... you know I am not familiar with these SU colors... so I try and match as closely as I can... I wanted to use some of my new Sweet Pea Stamps that I just received today... so I thought ... hmmmmm okay.. she is going to have Baja Breeze hair!!!! So thus the blue hair... LOL...
The stripes are in the green paper that is pleated on the left side... you have to look really closely... but it is striped with a thin white line!!!! and little tiny stars...
Okay.. now the Mother... well what can I say... she is always cooking something up... and she really has had me going plus...
#1... She sends this letter this morning to us about this young woman Eula.. who is only 108 years young... and it gets my heart all going funny ... and I tear all up.. and I am so happy... that I can't think about anything except this gal who is 108 and is still learning all these things... so I went and got a bookcase ... put some books into it that I thought my husband and I should read in the next few weeks... and felt pretty good about it... they were books that we have been trying to read, but never quite get to them... so now maybe we will.. so I tried to start to make a card... then the mail man came.. with stamps... had to sort thru that order... get them all ready to go to the gals that had ordered them.. then started again to work on the card...
5 phone calls later... lunch for all the workers, and then misc things... and finally I get to work on my card again.. oh yeah ... what was I going to do???
A cat... oh yeah... a kitten...
Our kittens the mother and 4 little ones are all doing well.. .but they are all FERAL... She came into the garage today.. and meaw ed... and needed some food... I put some raw meat out for her... and she waited until I left ...and then did get it... so this card is for me as well as all the others... hoping that I will be able someday to enjoy all these little ones and maybe even hold one!!!! I am hoping...
So BERT LADY moved... trying to move two cats... and from Texas to California!!!! Quite a move I must say... Well we all have to do things our own way.. .
That is why I have BLUe hair... Do any of you remember when your grandmothers use to go to the hair dresser and come home with blue hair??? WOW it is coming back... but with the younger generation!!!! YIKES... oh well.. Fun and Game.s...
thanks for taking a look at this card... there are lots more on my blog... hope you will go for a visit... thanks again.. .and hope y'all have a wonderful day...

Very pretty image and I love your coloring. The way you placed it in the sketch layout makes if look very fantasy like. Great card (and fun to read how your day went after mothermark's email about Miss Eula).

Well, Bonnie, it is a credit to you that you survived your day AND got your card done. The blue hair does bring back memories of all the grandmas with the blue and pink hair. Fabulous, fantastic work.
