I have been seeing lots of Lovely As Tree Sunrise/Sunsets using the mirror image technique showing up in the gallery lately, so this is my version.
I stamped my trees directly on white cardstock and then stamped them on a clear block, and flipped the clear block upside down & backwards to get my mirror image. Then I started sponging from the middle out with the lightest color first to the darkest colors last to get the sky & lake reflection effect. This is my first attempt and I think it turned out ok, but I am definitely eager to try this one again. I have a dear friend whose puppy Rockie was just hit and killed by a car this weekend. So this card is for her.

So sorry to hear about your friend's pup. This card is absolutely gorgeous, and it will surely give her comfort to know how much you care. Thanks for the tip on doing a mirror image. I've done it with the sheet from my stamp-a-ma-jig. I'll try it your way, as well.
