Well, with one thing or another this week, I haven't been able to stamp. But I learned yesterday that my DH's job is being eliminated (we have six months only) and I really needed some stamping therapy today! So this is a catch up card! It is for this week's Color, Sketch, Teapot Tuesday, Ways to Use it and Free for all challenges. Nothing like packing them in! I will also be sending this out as a RAK to Rachael to help pick up her spirits. For more information on this see this post:
The hardest part about this card was getting the computer generated greetings to curve. I'm not terribly computer savy so I had to muck around with this a while. The greeting in the stamp set, just couldn't be made to fit the curve.
My dogs are in the race to send Rachael some cheer. Of course their old truck doesn't move too fast!

Cute set of dogs - great truck (hey with how few "wheels" are coming I think your old truck has a chance to win!). Awesome job on using the computer to create the sentiment and getting it to curve!
I am sorry to hear about your DH's job - I am thankful you have 6 months notice because a lot of us didn't get that kind of warning - I will pray he finds something before the 6 months as it is easier to find a job when you have a job. Stamping is a huge help on the stress and there are lots of free digi stamps out there!

Hi there Kathy! So glad you made it and I'm glad that making a card for Rachel to cheer her up helped you to deal with your most recent news! This economy stuff is just the pits! I know first hand what you are going through girlfriend!
OMG! You did a great job on the sentiment! I have always loved that little pick-up and filling it with dogs traveling to the Fast and the Furriest race is just about as perfect as it gets!
No worries about going slow....we are finding out that half the dogs can't even drive, at least our dog is staying on the road! Wait till a rascally rabbit runs across the road, that's a whole nuther story!
Love that you made it here! Hang in there.....so sorry to hear your news! And this card rocks. Rachel will love, love, love it!
