Okay, so I have this REALLY cool pun stamp that says, "Time wounds all heals" - It took me forever to fork over the bucks for that great pun that grabbed me in the stamp store one day....cuz I'm like okay, who do you make a card for that says something so obnoxious??? If I had a friend who had a bitter divorce and she was abused....such happy thoughts raced thru my mind for who I could make a card for with this pun....and in the end I bought it just cuz I thought it was funny. It has collected dust on my shelf for all these years.....must be 10 maybe??? And tonite, my magic moment, my chance of a lifetime....use it, use it....but who could I make a card for, and what do you STAMP on a card that says "Time wounds all heals"???? A snake? I don't have any. In the end, I chose to make an anniversary card for my best friend and only sweetheart, Keith, who I will be married to for 37 years next month. I was a child bride. ;) LOL. Anyway - it is mice to be loved by someone like Keith! Happy Friday everyone, and BE NICE!!! (because time wounds all heals!!)

What a great card and fun story. I have a stamp like that - it says "for the amusement of postal workers only". I thought it was a hoot but I have never used it but know some day I will . . . Love your coloring on the HM image.

Cute story! I did the same thing years ago. Ruby Red Rubber had a image and sentiment that went together. Cranky looking woman with a stapler. Sentiment was, "Tell me it's PMS and I'll staple your nuts to the floor!" I thought it was hysterical, but could never think of who to give it to. (Don't think my hubby would be amused.) Love the card, almost looks as if it was flocked, but was your beautiful coloring! TFS

Karen, these mice and sunflowers are fabulous - I just love this little scene, it really is heart-warming! I have to say the coloring is outstanding - what type of markers are you using, are they SU?? Can you recommend a way to learn using markers/blenders, ie. an on-line tutorial?
I guess you can tell, I love this card!
