Here's my entry for the "Watercolor" theme for PAT 16. It's basically just a doodle done with cake watercolors, which I finished off with some 7Gypsies gaffer tape on the bottom and a metal eyepatch for the lady in the composition (every watercolor needs a metal eyepatch somewhere).
I hadn't used watercolors in years, but creating this brought back fond memories from my childhood when my older brother and I were (very) reluctant pupils in a watercolor class taught by a woman who lived on our street. I believe the only way my mother got her ungrateful little children to go to these classes was by promising us that if we did, we could then take the break-dancing lessons that our lil' mid-eighties hearts so desired...
