Today is round two for the Dueling Darlings. This month's theme is Cute and Cuddly and the hostess for the Dueling Darling Divas is Joan, known on SCS as ms.earlgrey. She choice the cutest Penny Black image called "Fly Away" along with some terrific argyle patterned dp and textured cardstock, great ribbon, clips, jump rings, brads and buttons. Also included was a super sentiment.
I used Jen Del Muro's Sketch For You To Try from the week. SU's Creamy Caramel for my card base and some SU Chocolate Chip cardstock for the underlayer of the green argyle textured panel. Strips of a M.S. punched Chocolate Chip, argyle patterned d.p. and ribbon. The image was die cut using Nesties Label 4 and colored with Copic markers and sponged with Tim Holtz Distress inks in antique linen and tie dye. The buttons were layered and tied with the green string from the kit.

Loveee your oh soooo greatly colored image and how U enphasized the checkered pants..wow...and how the tail end off the toy plane carries over to the delish tilted edges U so cleverly created...*WOWWWW*!!:o)
