Fun sketch today for the Free for All challenge! I had some coordinating dp and one piece had bands of different patterns that I thought would work well w/ this sketch. I had to cut them apart and reassemble to fit the sketch. The Rockets and Sprockets dp reminded me of the Jetsons and the little boy in the spaceship reminds me of Elroy Jetson. I loved that cartoon!
The only stamping is the greeting and the boy in the space rocket and those images are DRS Designs. After I reassembled the dp for the background, I stamped the greeting on a piece of acetate (actually, I used a pc of heavy plastic packaging.) I tried to use a circle die on the plastic, but it just wouldn't cut thru, so I ended up hand cutting along the embossed line.
After I cut 2 circles of dp and a larger dk orange circle, I attached the plastic circle on top w/ a mini brad. The colored and cut out spaceship was attached to the plastic circle w/ another brad. Because of the brads, the plastic circle will rotate easily when turned so the spaceship "orbits".
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

You go, Julie! I LOVED the Jetsen's (even had their doorbell sound on my phone to notify me of emails!)! This is adorable! That dp worked out perfectly for this (and I LOVE your little Elroy in the spaceship!)!
