We have a special Queen for a Day today. Our QFTD moderator and controller of the fates, Anne Ryan, was called away from her royal duties. So, it was decreed that Mutnik would step up to the post and fill in. Crowned this week, in absentia, is the Mother Superior herself--our dear Anne Ryan. I chose Anne's "Quirky" card found here to CASE.
I made appropriate substitutions, one of which was the sketch. (I used the F4A29 sketch.) My bow is pathetic compared to Anne's, and I am sure that Anne is much more of a fashionista that the Diva depicted here. This Diva also needs new glasses as she missed parts of her lips when applying her lipstick. At least she managed to tuck all of her hair under that hat and get her earrings on properly. Looks like she shaved her legs, too. What a glamour gal, huh?
We miss you, Anne. Thanks, Mutnik, for taking up the cause.

As I was reading the part about "tucking in" all her hair under her hat, I thought it was going to read "tucking in all her arm pit hair". hehe So glad you went the other way......must say Anne looks pretty good in her tankini! The sentiment definitely fits. What a fantastic fun card! TFS :0)

Definitely a HOOT!! Great and funny image, though I am SURE it bears NO resemblance to our appointed Queen of the Week!!Great paper piecing from your Embossed papers and the punched borders are fantastic! Super choice of the colors - we all know Anne loves purple - and the sentiment couldn't be better!! ;-)
