Hi all!
Here's one for Technique Tuesday's TTSCS3 challenge to make a project with one of their Little Sentiments sets.
I used the Wingin' It set. That's where the Butterfly came from. The words are from one the September Studio AE set --- Sentimentally Ali.
I made the background paper I stamped the butterfly on by spraying purple and green Glimmer Mist sprays on cardstock. Let it dry and then stamped the butterfly on top with black ink.
I also colored the ribbon with mists. It started out as a very white piece of satin ribbon. I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist. I sped up the drying process by using my heat gun on it.
Thanks for taking a peek!
Teri

There's just nothing I don't LOVE about this! The purple & green are gorgeous. I love the size of the tile you used for this; it created just enough "white space". Don't even get me started on that bow, lady! Here's what I'm taking away from this: I am the only woman in my house, so there aren't a lot of "frills" (ie flowers, butterflies, etc.) in my stash, and I never think to buy those things. This stamp set just made its way to my wish list, even if I only use it for cards. Yes, I can be girly again & it's okay! And the last take-away: cards don't have to have blunt edges/be free-standing. I am in love w/ the rounded corners that go so perfectly w/ the circle tile! My wheels are turning. TFS!
