Hi to you all, doesn't take long for the MIdnight MAdness Sketch Challenge to roll around does it, and here's the latest Challenge, and it sure keeps my brain on the "go'. I started off following the template for this one, and then sort of went off and did my own thing...I just can't help myself.
The central image is a RAK from Lovely Linda that has been copper embossed and I have shaded and pearled it and placed it in a EF shaded circle frame. This has been placed on a recycle fancy circle (a mirror frame from an Ezibuy Catalogue) with copper flower embellishments. The backgrounds are EF papers that have had Bark and Pinecone inks passed over them, with a Divine Swirls little inset with button and black filligree. Black filligree butterfly, diecut flower with pearls, and a negative copper cut out band are also added. The whole unit is on brown chaded CS. I never throw anything away, and recycle all sorts of stuff ('cos you'll never know when you may need it).
The challenge of putting "this with that", and does it look balanced, and are the colours right, is a process that I really enjoy...I think it works with this one, and hope you think so too. Love all your support, and thanks for looking at my little effort. Hope your week's been a good one, and see you next time

WOW Leslie this is magnificent. I am in awe of your copper accents. That happens to be my favorite and I have a collection of copper stuff that is just waiting to be used...lol Your medallion focal point is exceptional. The background embossing and ink distressing is sensation. I know I enjoy your creations so much as they are always so unique and filled with fascinating details. Great job with the sketch this week. Thank you so much for playing along with the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.
